Here’s a picture of the fruits of today’s labour…

Shaun, Al and I got down to the garages today. Expert advice was provided by a pair of very enthusiastic mechanics…

We started by putting the nearside wing back on. This required the removal of the freshly fitted air filter, but this was soon replaced once the wing was back on. We also reattached the front panel, the bonnet latch, headlight surround and grill – so Big Car is looking a lot happier now…

We’re going to pop into a trade shop during the week to get some electrical connectors. Then, next weekend, Shaun is going to tackle Big Car’s wiring – there’s a big jumble of wires where the dash should be at the moment. Meanwhile, Al and I are going to reattach the bonnet and front bumper.
