It would be cool to make a time line of all the work that has been done on Big Car since delivery of her was first taken. Please add a comment to this post describing any thing you can remember being done to Big Car and roughly when. This information will surely be invaluable in the future when we’re trying to work out if a particular part is new or old, for example.

Hello all,

Me and Al are heading down to the garages on Saturday with Shaun The Mechanic. I’ll take my camera so you can expect some photos up here on Monday. We’ll see if we can get Big Car started and try to diagnose what needs doing to her. We’ll also see how feasible it would be to cut down to just one garage and work out what needs doing to make this happen.

We’ll try to work out some way to host the Big Car bank account spreadsheet on this website so that everybody can keep track of the coming and goings of money (hopefully not too many goings!)

This website has been set up to cover the progress of Big Car. What is Big Car I hear you ask? Big Car is a Land Rover. A big ex-MOD Land Rover in military green. To find out more about Big Car check the About section.

She was originally bought by Simon Wilson from an auction to be restored. The project got so far before things happened, and ownership of Big Car shifted. For more information, check the About sections.
